This portable, rechargeable, cordless, combo Fan and Lantern, Product Model X70, is ideal for use, indoors and outdoors, during the hot Summer months. It's great for Camping, as a Tent fan, and in the RV. It keeps me cool when I’m working in my garage shop, which doesn't have air conditioning. On my patio table, this fan drives away mosquitoes and flying bugs. The fan is compact and folds up. It easily fits in my backpack. For easy transport, the 3 tripod legs are normally collapsed. Just flip each tripod leg down, to extend them, and it locks into place. To refold the legs, firmly press down on a latch on each leg. These latches are located just below the hinges. On a desk or table the fan is very stable and won’t tip over, whether of not the tripod legs are extended of folded. On grass, I extend the legs.
