California's Orange County: A Weekend Guide

I spent one weekend exploring Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Irvine & Anaheim--and had more adventures than I could have imagined. Some highlights included standup paddling in Laguna, biking the hills of Irvine, dining on the beach in Newport, and sampling craft beers in Anaheim. Don't miss the Laguna Art Museum and make sure to have brunch at Las Brisas and dinner at The Ranch in Anaheim.

Our hotel home base was Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, with a room right on the beach. All in all, it was a sunny, socal getaway from Los Angeles that revived us.
