Greg Fleet

Comedian, actor, writer, addict. Greg Fleet has entertained audiences throughout Australia and the UK for the past 25 years, writing and performing for stage and screen, all while battling a drug addiction. Best known as a fixture of the Australian stand-up comedy circuit, Fleet is also a NIDA-trained performer whose career achievements include roles in the hit TV show Underbelly: Squizzy and Melbourne Theatre Company’s Twelfth Night.

Greg is now also an author. His new book, These Things Happen, gives a detailed account of his decades-long double-life – juggling a high-flying comedy career with a drug habit.

In conversation with George McEncroe, Greg discusses his ongoing battle with drugs as well as the challenges and triumphs of his career.
