Pure Simplicity Hall Sensor Motor
This is a super simple 'Hall effect sensor' circuit' for switching small low power motors. It uses just a "latching" hall effect sensor as the only component to get the job done. An LED is placed across coil to absorb the flyback spike and help protect the sensor. The circuit will operate down to 2.5 volts and will handle at least 40 ma. Usually this sensor is used only as a signal source for a transistor but surprisingly can handle a light duty job like I show
