Balikatan 2019: Exercise Declared Open

Stay Tuned for More! Exercise Balikatan has officially started. Balikatan is an annual exercise between the U.S. military and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, along with participants from the Australian Defense Force. Balikatan is a Tagalog phrase for “shoulder to shoulder,” which characterizes the spirit of the exercise and represents the partnership between the U.S. and the Philippines.
