Cycling in a Beautiful Rural Area | River Thames | 4K

What better way to spend a sunny Sunday with the family than cycling by the river Thames in an extraordinary beautiful rural area in Walton-on-Thames.
For much of the 20th century, the Thames was one of the most polluted rivers in the country, but over the past 50 years, efforts to clean it have been successful and there are now over 125 different species of fish living in it, including perch, carp, chub, bream, pike and gudgeon.
This repopulation has attracted a lot of wildlife that loves nothing better than a fish supper (breakfast, lunch, brunch, teatime snack …) which includes significant numbers of seals, dolphins and harbour porpoises.
