Tamron SP 85mm f/1.8 VS. Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 on the Canon EOS M50 EF-M Camera

While filming hands-on videos at Camera Craft, David suggested I try out the Tamron SP 85mm f/1.8 Di VC USD lens considering I recently bought the much lower cost Canon EF 85mm f1.8 USM. I had no idea if the autofocus would even work on my EF-M cameras, so I was very curious about it! After finding out that it appears to function well on my Canon EOS M50, I went all out in trying the lens. We take a look at the lens itself in comparison to the EF 85mm. We check out how a person looks with the two lenses. We check out autofocus in video mode. We look at test images in detail and also a few nature photos. I attempt to try out the VC functionality of the Tamron lens. I take a quick look at the tap-in console and see that it allows things like firmware updates as well as adjustment to the VC functionality. This video took me many days to film and assemble.
