(HD 1080p) Bohemian Impressions, Marinarella Overture by Julius Fučík

Fučík was born in Prague, Bohemia, on 18 July 1872 when Prague was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. As a student, he learned to play the bassoon with Ludwig Milde, violin with Antonín Bennewitz, and various percussion instruments, later studying composition under Antonín Dvořák. Today his marches are still played as patriotic music in the Czech Republic. However, his worldwide reputation rests on one work: his Opus 68 march, the "Entrance of the Gladiators" (Vjezd gladiátorů), which is universally recognized, often under the title "Thunder and Blazes",

I visited Prague in the late 90s - I was not disappointed, It was everything that I expected it to be, one glorious city that showcases a myriad of architectural styles, coexisting side by side. It is is truly a pleasure for all, historians, tourists, and serious travelers. Prague is literally a textbook of architectural styles throughout the centuries.
