Slab Jig Assembly

Slab Jig Set up:
Tools- 7/16" nut driver
7/16" socket wrench
Phillips screwdriver
3/16" Allan wrench
1. Attach castors- 4 wheels on each bracket with screws and 7/16" locking nut. Tighten securely
2. Attach castor brackets to rails. Insert 2 carriage bolts in each rail on each side. Line up castor brackets on rails with wheels facing inwards. Hand tighten, repeat for opposite side.
3. Install router stops. Insert allan screws so it fits flush in the stop. Insert stop into the middle of the castor bracket and tighten with locking nut.
4. Take base off of your router and make a template of the width using scrap wood. Take template and insert into the edge of the router to set the jig to the width of your router.
5. Make sure everything is lined up, centered, and even. Use a speed square to get it exact.
6. Tighten castor brackets to the frame rails on 1 side.
7. Set the jig up on your table, adjust and tighten the opposite side to your table.
8. Test fit the router on the Slab Jig, set your router stops and tighten in place.
