Elk River "Upper and Middle" - low water - Full Run - RAW Guide - BC, Canada

The Upper and Middle Elk are a popular run in South Eastern BC made famous for the waterfall called Leap of Faith. The upper run (above the waterfall) has two class V drops and several grade IV rapids in between. Theres an un-runnable rapid at the end of the upper above the waterfall. Make sure to get out high enough up and portage around the Class VI on river right. Seal launch back in and fall off the 40'er. After the big pool your into the Middle section which hosts a number of grade IV boulder gardens in a stunning canyon.
