The mechanical watchmaking industry is not confined to Switzerland alone, as brands can come from anywhere in the world. Switzerland is still very much the epicenter of it all, yet we’ve seen watches from other countries and continents... And today, we're taking a look at a luxury watch coming from Seoul, South Korea. Unexpected, but the result, a watch named Valérarch Serenity 39, is a pretty cool timepiece, as you'll see in our hands-on video.

New to us, and no doubt a lot of you, is the South-Korean brand called Valérarch, a name derived from the Latin words Valére, meaning value or fearlessness, and Arch, meaning chief, principal or ‘the first’. Founded in 2022, the Serenity is the brand’s first product, and the one we’ll be taking a closer look at today.
