Mosby perjury trial jury selection underway

Some 64 prospective jurors in the Marilyn Mosby federal perjury trial faced a bevy of 59 questions as jury selection started Tuesday morning. The process came to a screeching halt from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. so the former Baltimore City state's attorney could attend a separate civil court matter in Baltimore. Jury selection resumed after the courtroom lunchbreak, and individual prospective jurors were asked follow-up questions, some in public, some in a sealed courtroom.
