Francis Peter Thomas D'Souza well-known Konkani stage actor, composer, writer, and director was Mumbai. Amorously known in tiatr circles as Bab Peter passed away following a heart attack at the age of 52 in Bahrain FEB 19, 2005. It is symbolic his wife Late Bai Ophelia (Tragedy Queen) expired in Mumbai 19 FEBRUARY 2016 which was also 11th death anniversary of her husband.
Hailing from Anjuna, he began his career as a child artiste, introduced on the stage with songs given to him by his father Domnic D Souza. As time went by, he started composing his own songs, Sangonk Zata Zobar, was composed in 1963.His songs were specialised in themes pertaining to social evils, especially with political overtones. Bab Peter then began writing his own tiatrs Apurbaieche Teg Khambe, Konn Nhuim Konnancho and Tukam Kiteak Poddlam etc.
