Lead Like a Girl 2021 Graduation with Shaheen Mistri

Last November, the fourth cohort of the Lead Like a Girl Fellowship graduated. What an exciting journey it has been for our lovely ex-fellows, as well as for us as we assisted them in their leadership endeavours.
The Lead Like a Girl fellowship is a six-month fellowship that offers individualised leadership training and project-based learning to help womxn develop the skills, confidence, and support they need to reach their full potential.

Shaheen Mistri, CEO of Teach for India, was one of our keynote presenters at the 2021 batch's graduation. For 17 years, she collaborated with teachers and students to ensure that children from low-income neighbourhoods received an education that allowed them to reach their full potential. She started Teach For India in 2008 with the audacious goal of providing a great education to all children across India by developing a pipeline of leaders committed to eradicating educational disparity in India. Shaheen graciously shared vital leadership lessons with our valued ex-colleagues, emphasising the importance of never giving up on your aspirations.
