I. Domine ne in furore tuo arguas me (Psalmus 6)
Domine, ne in furore tuo arguas me, neque in ira tua corripias me. [O lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.]
Miserere mei, Domine, quoniam infirmus sum: [Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak:]
sana me, domine, quoniam conturbata sunt ossa mea. [heal me; for my bones are vexed.]
Et anima mea turbata est valde: sed tu, domine, usquequo ? [My soul also is sore vexed: but, thou O Lord, how long?]
Convertere, Domine, et eripe animam meam: [Return, O Lord, deliver my soul:]
salvum me fac propter misericordiam tuam. [Oh save me for thy mercies' sake.]
Quoniam non est in morte qui memor sit tui: [For in death there is no remembrance of thee:]
in inferno autem quis confitebitur tibi? [in the grave who shall give thee thanks?]
Laboravi in gemitu meo, lavabo per singulas noctes lectum meum, [I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim:]
lacrimis meis stratum meum rigabo. [I water my couch with my tears.]
Turbatus est a furore oculos meus: [Mine eye is consumed because of grief;]
inveteravi inter omnes inimicos meos. [it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.]
Discedite a me, omnes qui operamini iniquitatem: [Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity;]
quoniam exaudivit dominus vocem fletus mei. [for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.]
Exaudivit dominus deprecationem meam, [The Lord hath heard my supplication;]
dominus orationem meam suscepit. [the Lord will receive my prayer.]
Erubescant et conturbentur vehementer omnes inimici mei: [Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed:]
convertantur et erubescant valde velociter. [let them return and be ashamed suddenly.]

Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui sancto. [Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost,]
Sicut erat in principio et nunc et semper [as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be:]
et in saecula saeculorum. [world without end.]
Amen.

16:26 II. Beati quorum remissae sunt iniquitates (Psalmus 31/32)
Beati, quorum remissae sunt iniquitates, [Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,]
et quorum tecta sunt peccata. [whose sin is covered.]
Beatus vir cui non imputavit Dominus peccatum, [Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity,]
nec est in spiritu eius dolus. [and in whose spirit there is no guile.]
Quoniam tacui, inveteraverunt ossa mea, [When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring]
dum clamarem tota die. [all the day long.]
Quoniam die ac nocte gravata est super me manus tua; [For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me:]
Conversus sum in aerumna mea, dum configitur spina. [my moisture is turned into the drought of summer.]
Delictum meum cognitum tibi feci, [I acknowledged my sin unto thee,]
et iniustitiam meam non abscondi. [and mine iniquity have I not hid.]
Dixi: confitebor adversum me iniustitiam meam Domino; [I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord:]
Et tu remisisti impietatem peccati mei. [and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.]
Pro hac orabit ad te omnis sanctus in tempore opportuno. [For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found:]
Verumtamen in diluvio aquarum multarum, [surely in the floods of great waters]
ad eum non approximabunt. [they shall not come nigh him.]
Tu es refugium meum a tribulatione quae circumdedit me; [Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble:]
Exultatio mea, erue me a circumdantibus me. [thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.]
Intellectum tibi dabo, et instruam te in via hac qua gradieris; [I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:]
Firmabo super te oculos meos. [I will guide thee with mine eye.]
Nolite fieri sicut equus et mulus, [Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule,]
in quibus non est intellectus. [which have no understanding:]
ln camo et freno maxillas eorum constringe, [whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle,]
qui non approximant ad te. [lest they come near unto thee.]
Multa flagella peccatoris; sperantem autem in Domino misericordia circumdabit. [Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.]
Laetamini in Domino, et exultate, iusti; [Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous:]
et gloriamini, omnes recti corde. [and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.]
