In this video I am discuss about How to correct your income tax return and get your overpaid refund refunded.

A person had arrears for the last 3 years, he showed all the arrears in Section 10, the entire tax of Rs 1,02,000/- deducted on the arrears was refunded, and it came into his account.

Then he realized that the refund of tax deducted on arrears was wrong, so he removed the entire arrear amount from Section 10 and added it to his total income and revised his income tax return, due to which the amount of tax deducted on his total income was reduced as per the earlier form no. It was deducted as per Form 16 and the entire return was revised as per Form 16 only.

Due to which the entire amount of refund taken by him earlier was demanded back.
