সিরিয়ায় আবারও সংকটের ঘনঘটা দেখা দিয়েছে। ইদলিব নিয়ে তুরস্ক ও রাশিয়ার আলোচনা ব্যর্থ হয়েছে। এর পরপরই সেখানে অভিযোনের ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন তুর্কি প্রেসিডেন্ট রিসেপ তাইয়েপ এরদোয়ান। ফলে আবারও রক্তপাতের শঙ্কা দেখা দিয়েছে।
সিরিয়ার ইদলিব নিয়ে আঙ্কারা-মস্কোর মধ্যে আলোচনা ব্যর্থ হওয়ার বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে বুধবার (১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রুশ পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী সের্গেই ল্যাভরভ গণমাধ্যমকে বলেছেন, সিরিয়ার ইদলিব নিয়ে উত্তেজনা কমাতে মস্কোয় সমঝোতায় পৌঁছতে রাশিয়া-তুরস্কের আলোচনা ব্যর্থ হয়েছে।

এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে ল্যাভরভ বলেন, সিরিয়ার সরকারি বাহিনী ইদলিবে আক্রমণাত্বক পদক্ষেপ নিচ্ছে। ওই অঞ্চলে তারা পূববর্তী চুক্তি বহাল রাখছিল তবে উসকানির প্রতিক্রিয়া জানাচ্ছে।

এর পরপরই ইদলিবে অভিযানের কথা জানিয়েছেন তুর্মি প্রেসিডেন্ট। ইদলিবে অভিযান পরিচালনা করা সময়ের ব্যাপার মন্তব্য করে এরদোগান বলেছেন, উত্তর-পশ্চিম সিরিয়ার ইদলিবে সীমান্ত অতিক্রম করে অভিযান পরিচালনা সময়ের ব্যাপার।

বুধবার তুরস্কের রাজধানী আঙ্কারায় দলীয় সংসদ সদস্যদের সঙ্গে এক আলোচনায় এরদোগান এ কথা বলেন।

সিরিয়া ২০১৬ সাল থেকে তিনটি অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়েছে উল্লেখ করে তিনি বলেন, আমরা সব অভিযান (আগের), আমরা বলছি, আমরা হঠাৎ এক রাতে আসতে পারি। অন্য কথায়, ইদলিব অভিযান সময়ের ব্যাপার।

এরদোগান বলেন, ইদলিবে রক্তপাত বন্ধ করতে রাশিয়ান কর্মকর্তাদের সঙ্গে বৈঠক হয়েছে; নামমাত্র যুদ্ধবিরতিতে আচ্ছাদিত দ্বন্দ্ব-সংঘাতে ক্ষতবিক্ষত প্রদেশটি। তিনি জানান, আলোচনায় ভালো ফলাফল আসতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছে।
