Glass Engraving for Beginners - Part 10.1 - Add colour to your engraving.
When I decided to make a video about ways to add colour to engraved glass I didn't realise how long the video was going to be. Rather than have an extra long video, I have split it into two parts. In this one we will have a look at using glass paint, in a couple of different ways, and using Rub n' Buff.
In the next part we will look at some other options including marker pens, acrylic paint, metal foil and gilding.
The glass paint I used was Pebeo Vitrea 160, which does claim to be waterproof once it is baked on. For the other methods of colouring engraving, I would suggest they should not be washed in case you end up washing off the colour.
