A story behind the track:

This track was inspired by the quarantine and the urge to escape from this whole new strange situation. We spent 3 months in lockdown, so we had a lot of time to discover and experiment with new things and examine how the nature works.
Our main source of inspiration was the rich, warm, analogue sounds of the 80s that we wanted to mix up with some futuristic elements.

We wanted to connect the past and the future through the power of music.
Most of the sound effects that you hear in the track were recorded in our garden with a microphone of an iPhone.
One night we had nightingale singing in one of our bushes, then the other day we had some frogs around our little pond.
We thought these field recordings would sound interesting if we pitch & stretch them, then make them sink in a shimmer reverb.

The signature melody is generated by an arccosine shaped LFO, supported by the analogue sound of an Arp Odyssey.
The reversed vocal chops are for to give our song a bit more futuristic and surreal feeling.

This is how our new track 'Escape' was born.

Egy történet a szám mögött:

Ezt a track-ünket a karanténból való menekülési vágy inspirálta.
3 hónapig voltunk bezárva, rengeteg időt töltöttünk új dolgok megismerésével és kipróbálásával, a természet működésének tanulmányozásával.
Fő technológiai inspirációnk a 80-as évek telt, analóg hangzásvilága, amit futurizmussal akartunk ötvözni.

Szeretnénk a múltat és a jövőt a zene segítségével összekapcsolni.
A hangeffektek nagy részét a kertben vettük fel egy iPhone mikrofonjával.
Egyik éjjel egy bokorban megbújt fülemüle énekét, másnap a kertünkben található tavacska köré gyűlt békák hangos kuruttyolását.
Úgy gondoltuk, hogy érdekes hatást lehet elérni, hogyha kicsit szétnyújtjuk, elpitch-eljük és egy shimmer reverb-ben elúsztatjuk ezen hangokat.

A jellegzetes melody-t egy arkusz koszinuszos alacsony frekvenciás oszcillátor adja, megtámogatva egy Arp Odyssey analóg hangjával.
A vokál reverse-elt szavaival pedig a futurizmusra és szürrealizmusra akartunk rájátszani.

Így született meg a karantén ideje alatt legújabb zenénk, az ‘Escape’.
