A Brief History of the Jews: From Abraham to Scranton
On 4/17/15, the Schemel Forum at The University of Scranton in cooperation with the Judaic Study Institute hosted David Myers, Professor of Jewish History and Chair of the History Department, UCLA. The talk explores the history of one of the most enduring peoples in the world, the Jews, from the time of their founding patriarch, Abraham, to the latest incarnation of Jewish life in 21st century America. Myers provides insights into the survival of the Jews over the ages.
