«ERMAK» was built on the basis of UAZ Hunter. There is ZMZ-40905.10 2.7L Engine with 135HP and 217 Torque under the hood. You may think, it's not enough for such a big car, but you will be wrong. Thanks to the tuned powertrain and properly selected gear ratios, this “small” engine creates enough torque to pull this SUV out of any hole. This SUV uses axles from a military truck GAZ 66 and interlocks from BTR (8×8 wheeled armored personnel carrier developed in Russia). Wheel height is 165 centimeters (5,5 ft). The weight of each wheel is 190 kg (419 lbs). The weight of the entire SUV ~2800 kg ( 6173 lbs ). The approximate cost of this project in the current state ~50,000 USD

ERMAK Timofeyevich - was a Cossack ataman and is today a hero in Russian folklore and myths. In the reign of Tsar Ivan the Terrible Yermak started the Russian conquest of Siberia. (wiki)
