Clark was All-Big Ten in both 2008 and 2009, leading PSU to the Big Ten title and a Rose Bowl berth in 2008. Clark won 22 games in two seasons as starter, and PSU finished in the Top 10 both seasons. He accounted for over 6,000 total yards in those two years. Clark went undrafted, playing briefly in the CFL and AFL.

Clark left Penn State as the all-time leader in passing TDs (43, now 4th) and Total Touchdowns (65, now 2nd). He also left third all-time in passing yards (5742, now 6th) and second in total yards (6377, now 2nd).

In 2009, he broke the PSU single season marks for passing yards (3003, now 4th), total yards (3214, now 5th), passing TDs (24, now 3rd), and total TDs 31 (now 3rd). His 2008 marks still rank 10th in passing yards and passing TDs, and 5th in total yards and total TDs.
