Now, to find out which one is better, you will need to have a real understanding of both.
So, let us start with price action trading.

Price Action trading is a technical analysis method that is widely used
by traders all over the world. Price action is basically the manner in
which the price of currency moves, which is analyzed in relation to the
manner in which the price of the same currency has moved in the
previous trading sessions. Hence, Price Action allows traders to read
the previous and present price movements and take trading decisions
accordingly.

To make it simple to understand, imagine you are traveling in your car and at some point, on-road, you had an accident as the road was too narrow.
Next time when you go through the same road what will you do?
You will slow down and drive cautiously.
Because you have a sense of belief in your mind that last time when I went through this road I crashed.

The same thing works in price action.
When the price moves up or down many traders get in and out differently.
Out of which some wins and others lose.
Whenever a trader wins or loses the area in which he entered has psychological significance for him.
Like, let us say that the price was moving up and so many traders thought that price will continue to do the same and entered a buy trade.
But the price dropped down sharply and the buyers had to go through a loss.
Also here there must be some traders who sold and had a profit.
So, this level now holds significance in the minds of buyers and sellers, and hence next time when the price comes to this level, traders will react to it.
Just like you remembered the area where you crashed and slowed down the car in the same way the buyers who crashed in this area last time will slow down and react to it.

Hence forming a resistance zone.

And this is all price action is about.
Taking your current trading decisions based on historical data.

Price Action trading looks to exploit the psychology of demand and
supply prevalent in trading.
These traders leave behind supply demand zones, chart patterns, and other candlestick patterns which can be exploited and capitalized on by traders trading the price action method.

Indicator trading is nothing but when a trader makes a decision of entering or exiting a trade based on an indicator.
Indicators are mathematical tools that have been developed by several
traders in order to assist them in making trading decisions. It is basically
a set of calculations that are applied to historical data of price or
the volume of the currency in order to predict the price’s movement in the
coming trading sessions.

Indicator trading is nothing but the utilization of these technical
indicators in order to predict price movements and to make trades based
on the predictions.
It gives the trader a set of rules according to which trades are to be taken.

Like, It gives clear cut indications based on which traders must act.
If an indicator gives a bullish signal, traders are supposed to get into long positions and if the indicator gives a bearish signal, traders are supposed to get into short positions.
