Knock, Knock - Horror short film (Solo Project)

This is what 2 hours of impromptu filming and a few hours of editing looks like... This is my first attempt on a horror short film

To briefly introduce myself, I am John Gonzales, i'm 18 years old i'm an aspiring film maker.

I first had the idea to create a horror as soon as I stepped into our accomodation, in Bangor, Wales. It had its own air raid shelter and was completely isolated with the rest of the town. It even had a locked door we didnt have the keys to. From there I knew I couldnt let the oppurtunity pass. So I then started thinking of a narrative, and on the same day I started production

Most of the sound effects you hear in this short film is created by me. Taking part in Foley was a difficult task since I had to make sure the sounds I was creating fit well with the image it was being synced to. This is my first time taking part in foley so the sound effects you will hear may not be accurate with what you are seeing (the stings, scores and crescendos were taken off the internet)... and yeah I know the piano piece playing does not match the title of what was shown.

Overall this project was more of a lesson, as I was able to identify my weaknesses throughout the whole production process.

This by all means is not a perfect project but I do hope you enjoy.
