The Lost Key of Wonderhussy
Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #280
While exploring an extremely remote site near Death Valley last fall, I lost one of my car keys. It was cold and windy and getting dark, and I had a spare with me -- so I didn't bother to try and look for it, especially because I also had a second spare at home, and it didn't seem worth stumbling around in the dark over. But then I found out those replacement electronic keys are like $300! So I decided I'd better get back out there and look for it, after all. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule I didn't have time to go back out there until about 3 months later. Would the key still be there? It was a VERY remote location, with ZERO vehicle traffic and likely zero foot traffic either....
