Returning players have been a long-standing twist to the casting format throughout Survivor & Big Brother, and in lieu of Edge of Extinction somewhat reviving the tradition, let's focus our attention to one particular dynamic known as the "captains" twist -- whereupon outnumbered returning players play alongside a gaggle of aspiring newbies.
