This is your USD News Minute.

Congratulations to all of our graduates! Commencement ceremonies begin this weekend – the first of two weekends of celebrations at USD’s Jenny Craig Pavilion. This weekend, school of law students and students from graduate programs at SOLES and Professional and Continuing Education will graduate.

Ahead of commencement, USD's Military and Veterans Program held its Military Graduation Celebration aboard the USS Midway Museum on Friday to honor 41 military-connected students graduating this academic year. Military-connected students include active-duty, veterans, spouses and dependents.

Robert Justice, a senior History major and Ethnic Studies minor, spent last Thursday as “President for a Day,” where he swapped places with USD President James T. Harris III who in turn had the opportunity to walk a day in his shoes. This year, Justice had a busy schedule attending various meetings and events while President Harris visited Justice’s classes and joined the Outdoor Adventures organization meeting.
