Brown Girl

When it came to creating a character for a walk-cycle, it had to be a 'she' and brown. At first it was just her – my brown girl – in her beautiful honey brown skin and her velvety black curls – walking in a void.
But she belongs somewhere.
Where does a brown girl belong?
Where do brown black girls and boys belong? Where can they walk—play—rest safely without being harassed, abused, shot!
