Catching Octopus by Hand in Hawaii!

Octopus hunting in Hawaii! We use blunt spear tips to prod the octopus from their hiding places in the coral and then grab them with our hands! Then we cut them up and use them as fish bait! Out of all the saltwater baits fishermen use, I contend that octopus is the best! It stays on the hook really well and gives off a sent that ALL fish find irresistible. When you pull of the skin, the white meat is also highly visible in the clear water.
