Mt Wellington / Kunanyi
Mt Wellington/Kunanyi has a diverse range of environments to explore, from the rainforest areas in the foothills to the glacial rock formations at the pinnacle of the mountain. The views from the lookouts are stunning, and you can drive or catch a bus to the top.

Salamanca Place & Markets
Salamanca Place is a cobblestone square in Sullivans Cove on Hobart's waterfront. It has a great selection of restaurants, cafes, art galleries and bars. The Salamanca Markets are held here every Saturday from 8.30 am - 3.00 pm.

MONA
The Museum of Old and New Art is Australia’s largest private museum, with three levels of underground galleries, two wineries, a brewery, several bars and restaurants, luxury accommodation, a library, a cemetery and a tennis court. You can catch the MONA ferry from Hobart.

Constitution Dock
Constitution Dock is only a 5-minute walk from the city centre on Sullivan’s Cove at the southeast end of Franklin Wharf. Wander along and admire the boats or stop for a meal at one of the many seafood restaurants or fish and chip stalls.

Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens
These botanical gardens are over a century old, wander around and enjoy the Japanese Garden, Sub Antarctic Plant House, the historic Arthur Wall, Cactus House and Herb Garden. There is also an onsite Cafe.

Battery Point
Battery Point was settled in the early 1800s and is one of the oldest areas of Hobart Town. It has beautiful winding streets, colonial architecture and many historical buildings, making it one of Australia's most fascinating historic precincts.

Cascade Brewery
Cascade Brewery is in the foothills of South Hobart below Mt. Wellington; it is the oldest operating brewery in Australia. Cascades Brewery Bar and Cafe is open daily for meals and drinks, and tours of the Brewery can be booked.

Chase Waterfalls
Nestled in the foothills of Mt Wellington / Kunanyi are 5 waterfalls you can explore. You can walk to Myrtle Gully Falls, Secret Falls, O'Grady Falls, Silver Falls and Strickland Falls.
