Princess Jasmine Hair

I always have a lot of fun doing my hair like a Disney Princess! I love to get my creative gears working so that I could convert a cartoon's hairstyle into a reality. This can definitely become challenging because of the unbelievable amount of volume some of these characters have! Which is why I decided to cheat. Just a little bit. I wanted to recreate Princess Jasmine's hairstyle but I don't have the right amount of volume and I didn't want to use hair extensions or wigs. So instead of teasing my hair to get the volume, I used a secret weapon: socks!! Don't worry, they were all freshly washed!

I also just used a ribbon I had found around the house that looked similar to the one Jasmine had to tie up her hair. I used four pairs of socks in total. To create the bubble ponytail, I used two pairs of ankle socks. For the hair twists around my hairline, I used a pair of knee high socks for each side. Of course picking socks similar to your hair color helps to conceal the fact that you have a sock hiding in your hair. I hope you enjoy this creative way to give your hair some volume and become a Disney Princess for a day!
