Saweetie is wearing a Christian Cowan gown, which she says contains ‘10 million crystals.’ The theme for fashion’s biggest night of the year is ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,’ an exploration of the nation’s sartorial identity and a deep dive into American ingenuity. Saweetie opens up about the special meaning behind her dress' cape. A nod to her heritage, Saweetie says, ‘My cape represents the Black American heritage flag and the Filipino flag.’
