Welcome to another Creature Feature!
This week, we take a closer look at the Australian Laughing Kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae).

Disclaimer – Kookaburras a not suitable pets for the vast majority of people and cannot be housed in traditional cages (not even macaw sized). I do not endorse or recommend them as pets. Also, Babakook is NOT a wild-caught bird. He is captive bred from many generations of captive birds. We do have to have a special permit for Babakook.

COMPETITION DETAILS

How To Enter
Draw a picture of your favourite animal/animals you’ve seen on my channel. You can choose your own style!

You must write your Twitter accounts name (eg: @yourusername) so that I can easily keep track of whose picture belongs to which account.

Take a picture of you art and comment it on Twitter, mentioning @emzoticofficial in the Tweet, so that I can actually see it once it has been uploaded!

Voting will begin January 21, 2018 and end at midnight on January 31, 2018, so the sooner your picture is in, the greater your chance of accumulating votes.

The WINNER will be announced on all my social media on February 1, 2018. The winner will be contacted by direct message on Twitter from my account @emzoticofficial. Please note, YOU HAVE TO BE FOLLOWING ME for me to be able to follow you back and DM you that you’ve won!

Winner will receive a variety of awesome, animal-themed prizes!!

1 Entry per person/Twitter account. Multiples will be disqualified.
You MUST be at least 18 or have permission from your parents to enter.
The winning picture will be chosen by my Facebook Page followers. Likes, comments and reactions ALL count as votes.
