Below are the places which we have covered on our 6th day of the Spiti Tour, Hope you will enjoy this episode. Date of Journey - 30th June 2021.

We stayed at Piggy Homestay in Tabo, Rs 1000 for double occupancy.

Breakfast at Homestay

Ancient caves - At a 10 minute walking distance.

Tabo Monastery - This is a 1000 year old monastery.

We proceeded towards Dhankar Monastery, on our way we saw beautiful Rock formations which I have never seen on the mountains.

In Dhankar we stayed at Zhiwaling Hotel & Restaurant - Rs 1200 for double occupancy.
Zhiwaling (Dhankar) - Dhankar..9015025172, 9459262520. This property is half km from Dhankar Monastery.

Dhankar lake - , It was a 1 hour trek to reach this lake.. It was beautiful to experience. Sher Singh Dhankar 9418845152 zhiwaling hotel Dhankar.

We had dinner at local house - food item -

Que - Pour oil in pan, Tempering of onion & garlic, Soaked Churpi with some chopped vegetables, Potato, Spinach, tomato, carrot. Added water, let the vegetables cook in water for about 15 to 20 min. Kneaded wheat flour pieces steamed for a while.

Pak - made of 4 ingredients, sattu, sugar, butter & Something like churpi (churship) small pieces as compare to churpi. How churpi is made, When you make curd, the butter which is left, boil it, Cottage cheese substance. Dried

Boiled water pour into a bowl, added butter, sugar, added sattu 4 tbsp with churship, mix it well, it will take a form of a laddu.

Generally, people eat pak before a meal.
