THE BEST SUKANG SAWSAWAN RECIPE! | 2 WAYS VINEGAR DIPPING SAUCE

Sukang sawsawan is the generic term or tagalog word for vinegar dipping sauce in the Philippines.
There are many types of sawsawan in the Philippines and mostly use with soy sauce, kalamansi, vinegar, etc.

This vinegar dipping sauce (sukang sawsawan) can be paired on almost any grilled or fried dishes as it not just adding a kick on the food you eat but it enhances the flavor of it.

You can use it as a dip to lumpiang shanghai (spring rolls), vegetable fritters (okoy), barbecue, crispy pata, porkchops, kwek-kwek (quail eggs) and a lot more!

TIPS:
*Other recipes call for adding little bit of water to lessen the sourness of the vinegar
*You can also cook the vinegar mixture after blending altogether if you want
*You can substitute onion with a cucumber as well for a milder taste
*Adding sugar and salt balances out the sourness of the vinegar mixture. You just have to adjust the ingredients according to your desired taste.
