Plane Spotting at Riga Airport, Latvia | 11-09-19

While staying in Riga I managed to find some time, and a decent spot to make a video at the airport. Albeit not the best variety, there was some interesting movements while I was there. Notably a Boeing E-3 Sentry which aborted landing due to updraft windshear.

It was really cool to see some classic 737's again, which are apart of the Air Baltic fleet. The 737 classics are becoming rarer across Europe. It was also nice to see Air Baltic's fleet of new A220's. Other interesting movements included an Aeroflot SU95 and a UTair 737-500.

It was fairly windy while I was spotting at Riga, with 90 degree crosswinds. The winds made for some interesting approaches and touchdowns. And as I said above resulted in the go around of a E3 Sentry.
