THE FINAL STRETCH // new windows, finishing chimneys and a big clean // victorian renovation diaries

Welcome back to our Victorian Renovation Diaries in East London!

This week in our terraced house, we are attempting to DIY install our bathroom window, getting the insulation into place, and FINALLY bricking up the last of the chimneys to comply with building regulations. Doing this for the first time was a REAL eye opener into how long some jobs can be, and if you had removing chimneys on your renovation list I would HIGHLY encourage you to think twice (particularly when doing 4!)

Nothing like a bit of cleaning to get me in a good mood, and we finish off the day scrubbing up the kitchen. Staying on top of cleaning while doing a renovation is an endless task (particularly if you have no skip) but after some harsh words from builders we decided to finally get on top of it!
