Hey guys, welcome back to our Egypt travel vlog 2025!

Today, Keenan and I visit one of the most beautiful and chaotic places in Cairo — the iconic Khan El Khalili Market 🕌

This historic market is over 600 years old, dating back to the Mamluk era, and it’s one of the absolute must-visit spots when you’re looking for things to do in Cairo.

From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by the lanterns, antique shops, traditional souvenirs, handmade jewelry, and the endless hustle and bustle. We wandered through narrow alleys full of treasures — papyrus, spices, scarves, and more.

Of course, we had to try bargaining with the shopkeepers (they didn’t budge much with us 😅). Keenan ended up buying a papyrus scroll as a wedding gift, and I almost got scammed by someone trying to sell me fake jewelry for $20… no discount for me!

We also stopped by the legendary El Fishawy Café, one of the oldest coffeehouses in Cairo — it’s been open for centuries and has hosted everyone from locals to global icons.

مرحبًا يا جماعة، ورجعتلكم بحلقة جديدة من مدونة السفر في مصر!
النهاردة، أنا وكينان رحنا واحدة من أشهر وأجمل وأكتر الأماكن حيوية في القاهرة — سوق خان الخليلي!

هذا السوق التاريخي عمره أكتر من ٦٠٠ سنة، واتأسس في العصر المملوكي! بيعتبر من أهم الأماكن السياحية في القاهرة، ومكان لازم تزوره لو بتخطط تعمل أشياء سياحية في القاهرة.

جو السوق كان جنوني ومليان حياة – من الفوانيس المبهرة، للبازارات اللي فيها تحف قديمة، وأوراق البردي، وكل أنواع التذكارات. طبعًا حاولنا نفاصل، بس التجار كانوا عنيدين معانا 😅 كينان اشترى ورقة بردي كهدية زواج، وأنا للأسف كنت على وشك أشتري إكسسوار رخيص جدًا بـ٢٠ بدون فصال – كنت بتعرض لعملية نصب مصغّرة 😂

دخلنا كمان على واحد من أقدم وأشهر المقاهي هناك – قهوة الفيشاوي – اللي الناس بتروحها من زمان قوي، فيها روح أصيلة ما تتنسيش!
