Colombia ranks among the world's top 15 gold producers mostly mined by modern machinery, but often leaving behind a toxic, mercury-contaminated environment. But these miners are different, part of a movement known as "Green Gold." With shovels they painstakingly loosen the dirt, searching by hand for any trace of gold.
