The Appian Way - Appia Antica

Brief and Short video note about the Appian Way, or Via Appia Antica, which is probably the ancient Roman Way. It was built in 312 BC, and it connected Rome to Brindisi, Apulia.
It was also famous because it was where Spartacus' Army, about 6.000 slaves, were crucified.
Also, it was extensively used during world war II, during Anzio war operation to conquer Rome.
