Working on an improved character model for Gabi to address a lot of the fan feedback I've received regarding her proportions and animations. I will also be finally giving her gloves and headphones present in the promo art!
IMPORTANT: I am creating this character using specialized techniques developed by Arc System Works for Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ. These techniques deliberately break the conventions of 3D modelling, texturing and animation to achieve a stylized look. Unless you have studied all of their presentations on these techniques, do not backseat dev using the live chat. Feel welcome to ask questions, but please understand I am working and do not have time to explain all of the inner workings of these principles to everyone who asks.
Project Feline is an anime-style parkour adventure starring Gabi, a feline-human hybird. Players build momentum by running on walls, grinding on rails and sliding down hills to traverse complex environments as fast as possible. This documentary series explores Raymond's journey as an emerging indie game developer building his dream game from start to finish, utilizing the internet and community-powered tools like Unreal Engine and Blender.
