Tsarskoye Selo is one of the most beautiful parks in St Petersburg, Russia. This state museum and heritage park is an extremely popular tourist attraction with millions of people visiting Tsarskoye Selo every year. We love visiting Saint Petersburg, so we decided to film a travel guide for you to enjoy the views and learn more about Russian culture and history.

Tsarskoye Selo was the name of the town located near St Petersburg. Now called Pushkin (by the name of the famous Russian poet), the museum still has its historical name Tsarskoye Selo. The most popular and beautiful part of this big heritage park is Catherine Park which is the home of the fabulous Catherine Palace. If you're planning your visit to Russia any time soon, this is one of the things to do in St Petersburg.

The best time to visit Tsarskoye Selo is May - October. In Summer, it's quite crowded over there, so we recommend arriving as early as possible to enjoy the park at its fullest. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices at the entrance, at ticket offices in St Petersburg or online. Prices start from just 150 Rubles (3.50NZD), palace entry and tour guides will cost you extra. Saint Petersburg, Russia is one of the most amazing historic cities in Europe and in the world. Its city centre and palaces are included in the UNESCO Heritage Sites list. We highly recommend spending time there if you are travelling around Europe, it's a short flight from Moscow and you can get there by car or train from Finland. So plenty of transportation options. And make sure to check out Tsarskoye Selo.
