The Unusual Flat Topped Volcanoes & How they Form; Tuyas
In Oregon, Canada, and Iceland are a strange group of volcanoes which have incredibly steep slopes yet also a flat top. Known as "tuya" volcanoes, these unusual features can form when a volcanic eruption or series of volcanic eruptions occur underneath a thick ice sheet.
