Truck Breakdown While Towing Camper On The Interstate!

So, on Sunday, I was driving home from a camping trip. I heard a loud pop noise and my engine died. The truck actually completely shut off and I lost my power steering. This is extremely frustrating because we just spent $12k 10 months ago on a re-manufactured Cummins engine, new injectors, and a bunch of other misc parts.

I've only put 4,000 miles on this "new" engine and should not be having major break-downs like this. I am over this truck! I think it is time to finally say good bye. I'm thinking a 2015 or newer Chevy 2500 with the 6.0L gas engine. Besides being done with this truck, I'm done with having a diesel. The trucks are too expensive, maintenance is more $, and I ultimately don't tow enough to justify the additional expenses.
