Huevember Art Challenge 2019 Owl painting in mixed media (coloured pencil and watercolour)

Hi Guys!

In today's video, I wanted to show you an idea I had for the Huevember art challenge. I wanted to participate this year but due to other commitments, didn't quite make it, so today wanted to show you what I would have done- had I manged to fit it in!

Huevember is another month long art challenge where you create a piece of art every day through November and use a different Hue in each drawing or painting. My idea was to feature an animal in black and white and have the hue for the day incorporated into both the drawing AND the background.

I quite liked how it turned out and enjoyed experimenting with mixed media in this piece so I hope you enjoy it!
