SASSA Administrators Were Arrested for Alleged Involvement in a R260m Fraud Scheme

Three South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) grant administrators were arrested in Johannesburg on Friday for their alleged involvement in a R260 million fraud scheme. The suspects, two men and a woman, were apprehended by police at the SASSA offices as they were about to open, following a tip-off.
