For years, the Taybeh family had to walk long distances through rocks and bushes to perform their sanitary duties. In cold winters and hot summers, this work was hard and exhausting. But despite all the hardships, they never lost hope. Ali and Farzad would go down the valley every day to collect firewood and water, and their loyal and watchful dog, Kharsi, was always with them.

One day, news came that a group of volunteers and an operator responsible for providing aid to deprived areas were going to come to the mountains to help families in need. The Taybeh family, who had always dreamed of having a proper bathroom and toilet, received a glimmer of hope upon hearing this news.

A few days later, the operator, along with several members of the volunteer group, entered the mountains in a truck carrying construction materials. Traversing the winding and rocky roads was not easy, but their determination to help the Taybeh family overcame every obstacle in their path. When they reached the cave, Ali, Farzad, and Kharsi went to welcome them. The mother, Taybeh,’s eyes were shining with excitement.

After examining the family’s living space and needs, the operator decided to build a small bathroom and toilet near the cave, where water would be more easily accessible. They began moving stones and construction materials with the help of Ali and Farzad. Farzad enthusiastically carried buckets of cement, while Ali carried stones and bricks up from the bottom of the mountain. A bear also gave the group energy and joy with his cheerful barks.

Days passed one after another, and with collective effort, the walls of the bathroom and toilet went up. The operator carefully and patiently installed the plumbing and insulation so that there would be hot water for washing in the cold winters. The mother of the family thanked the operator and the volunteer group many times from the bottom of her heart, saying that having such facilities was like having a new life for them.
