International Law & the Future of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
Given the failure of the most recent round of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, the future in the region is highly uncertain. How, if at all, might international institutions including the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice, the Human Rights Council, and the Human Rights Committee help shape expectations and enable compromise? How can international law best influence the realization of a lasting peace agreement? This panel explores these questions from a range of perspectives.
