Hunting for rocks at the confluence of the Missouri river, and the Mississippi river finding some gorgeous stones on a cold frigid day.  some banded chert, some fossils, some amazing Vermilion agate that went put up to a light is absolutely gorgeous. Fun, free and family is the name of this adventure with the Ranger and the many rock Rangers The rocks, didn’t stand a chance with all these people on the hunt. Knowing what we know now can’t wait to get back to Missouri to do some more rockhound and rock hunting. Always fun to find specimens that are not prevalent in Wyoming.
