HOW to set up the canon 70D or ANY CANON for streaming on OBS and STREAM LABS | Using EOS Utility!

STEP BY STEP GUIDE BELOW!!!!!

1. Search Canon Utility and look for you camera on canons website. https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/self-help-center/eos-utility

2. Download Canon Utility 3 and follow install steps.

3. open canon utility and press Camera Settings

4. Press Camera Live View ( Now you see you cameras view)

5. Disable the focus square that might appear or any on screen objects.

6. Open OBS or Stream Labs, let your camera view be in the background DONT MINIMIZE THE CAMERA WINDOW

7. Create a new source

8. Press window capture

9. Select Remote Live View

10. Your video should be on your stream.

11. RIGHT click on the video and press TRANSFORM and then EDIT TRANSFORM

12. Boom you now see your crop factors LEFT RIGHT TOP BOTTOM, play with the adjustments to make you video cropped to your liking.

13. You can move around you new stream camera view and make it smaller/ bigger.

Tips. NEVER minimize the remote shoot live view window that OBS or SL is capturing, this will cause your webcam to pause or stutter. just simply keep your window behind your games or stream.

Tip #2. When you close and open OBS on another day make sure you open your canon utility app and get your camera set up before you open OBS or SL, there for you arent confused when you see a black webcam in the corner.
